Project description

The existing asphalt road surface is heavily rutted with extensive longitudinal and transverse cracking and fatigued appearance due to oxidation.

Proposed to cold plane profile the existing road surface to a depth of 100 millimetres for a length of 150 metres and a width of 21 metres and reinstate over the whole area with 14 mm type N hot mix asphalt base course to a depth of 65 mm and 10 mm type H hot mix asphalt wearing course to a depth of 35 mm.
