Project description

This portion of Six Mile Road is a loose inclined gravel road surface that creates dust issues for the 3 houses that front the gravel road, has Poor stopping distance for vehicles travelling down the hill and thirdly poor road resistance for trucks travelling up the hill, causing rutting, corrugations and vehicles to get stuck on the road.

For the 300 metre section of road being sealed, the gravel road requires shaping and forming. It then requires water binding and sealing with a 10mm stone and bitumen primer seal.
