Project description

Gravel road is not trafficable when the Warrego River is in flood. As a request from the village tour from Council's Management Plan the residents would like this piece of road raised and gravel resheeted as it is not trafficable when the Warrego River is in flood.

Reformation of the road to above flood level and gravel resheet with 200 millimetre depth of gravel as requested by the the village tour from Council's Management Plan .

Total cost of proposed project is $414,558

St Andrews Street, Walkerville - 060498-15SA-RTR

Significant crocodile cracking. Various potholes. Road surface is ravelling and stones dislodged. Edge of the surface is cracking and breaking away in section (adjacent stone kerb and gutter)Edge plane on both sides of road 300-500mm Profile between 30mm-50mm of the entire road. Preparation for surface overlay. Application of new asphalt surface. 10.5m x 130m Area = 1365m2Total cost of proposed project is $54,500

Huntingwood Drive, Huntingwood - 060506-15NSW-RTR

This road is a major industrial road which has a high volume of heavy vehicles. The road has extensive areas of crocodile cracking and rutting indicating that the pavement has excessive movement. The extensive cracking also allows for additional moisture to enter the base material and accelerate the failure. Some areas are displaying leaching of the pavement material through the asphalt. Some areas have the asphalt wearing course breaking away from the pavement due to the excessive deflections being experienced by the pavement.Mill out the existing pavement to a depth of 150mm and replacement with asphalt. Work also includes the reconstruction of damaged sections of kerb and gutter.

Cornelia Road, Toongabbie - 060508-15NSW-RTR

This road is a major collector road and a bus route. The road has extensive areas of crocodile cracking and rutting indicating that the pavement has excessive movement. The extensive cracking also allows for additional moisture to enter the base material and accelerate the failure. Numerous pot hole repairs have been undertaken in the travel lanes. Some areas have the asphalt wearing course breaking away from the pavement due to the excessive deflections being experienced by the pavement. The pavement is also heavily oxidised.Mill out the existing pavement to a depth of 150mm and replacement with asphalt. Work also includes the reconstruction of some damaged kerb and gutter.

Distillers Place, Huntingwood - 060509-15NSW-RTR

This is an industrial road. The road has extensive areas of crocodile cracking indicating that the pavement has excessive movement. The extensive cracking also allows for additional moisture to enter the base material and accelerate the failure. Some areas are displaying lamination of the wearing course and patching in areas where the asphalt wearing course is breaking away from the pavement, due to the excessive deflections being experienced by the pavement.Mill out the existing pavement to a depth of 150mm and replacement with asphalt. Work also includes the reconstruction of some damaged kerb and gutter.

Kariboo Close Mona Vale - 060512-15NSW-RTR

The existing old road pavement has an unacceptable ride quality due to potholes, pavement failures and delamination of spray seal.The work proposed is to remove approximately 50mm depth of existing sealed pavement over a length of 150 metres x 6 metres and then to resurface with new asphalt.

Hilltop Avenue, Blacktown - 060513-15NSW-RTR

Hilltop Avenue is a residential road. The pavement is heavily oxidised and displays some block cracking and extensive crocodile cracking. Areas of the kerb and gutter are also extensively cracked. The crocodile cracking is an indication that the pavement is deflecting excessively. The cracked pavement and kerb and gutter will allow excessive moisture to enter the pavement and promote premature failure.Full reconstruction of the pavement including the kerb and gutter.

Minilya Crescent Dampier WA - 060514-15WA-RTR

Corroded and ageing 900mm steel core culvert pipe under Minilya Crescent needs replacing.Replace corroded pipe with a 1500mm diameter concrete pipes, fit precast headwalls, cement stabilise and scour protect.Total cost of proposed project is $140,000

Narrabeen Park Parade Warriewood - 060516-15NSW-RTR

The existing old road pavement has an unacceptable ride quality due to deep lift in areas, numerous potholes and sub-base failures.The work proposed is to remove approximately 50-100mm depth of existing sealed pavement over a length of 200 metres x 10 metres and then resurface with new asphalt.

Coveny Street, Doonside - 060517-15NSW-RTR

The existing seal is oxidised and stripped. The pavement is displaying cracking in some areas. In general the shape of the road is acceptable.The treatment will involve some heavy patching and the wearing course will be treated with a 30mm mill and fill operation with AC10 over the entire area. Project also includes some kerb and gutter repair.Total cost of proposed project is $127,125
