Project description

The project involved the construction of two dual-lane roundabouts on Station Road at the intersection at each of the Calder Freeway access ramps at Gisborne/New Gisborne, Victoria.

Benefits

The roundabouts are expected to significantly improve and provide safer access onto and off the Calder Freeway.

Funding

The cost of the project was $6.35 million. The Australian Government contributed $4.76 million and the Victorian Government $1.58 million.

Timetable

Construction commenced on 6 March 2016 and was completed on 19 June 2017.
