Project description

The partial existing gravel road pavement that serves two (2) quarries with heavy vehicle movements is causing considerable damage to the road pavement and considerable dust nuisance to several local residences on the road

Proposed to stabilise the existing gravel pavement and construct a base layer pavement above this and seal the road. This will be for the first 3.0 km of the gravel road.

Total cost of proposed project is $1,629,000

Install 2 meter wide concrete footpath on south side of Hughes street from Couper street intersection heading west to Leake street intersection for 80 meters.
