Project description

Inadequate road width and drainage on Collector Road resulting in pedestrian and traffic safety issues as well as minor local flooding of properties.

Construction of road pavement over a length of 330 metres on the southern side of the road to create a 7.5 metre carriageway. Work includes kerb and gutter, road pavement, drainage works and regrading of the nature strip (including adjustment to multiple driveways).

Total cost of proposed project is $389,808

The timber girders which support the 15m long timber running surface are in poor condition due to their age, water damage and some infestation from white ants.Proposed works include the removal of the existing timber girders and timber deck and replace with reinforced box culverts and undertake some minor roadway approach works.Total cost of proposed project is $304,884

Existing pavement is severly depleted of pavement material.Nominal pavement width to be increased to 4m. Renewal of low standard pavement with minimum 80mm fine crushed rock.Total cost of proposed project is $34,622
