Project description

Old sheeting on various sections of this road have either been eroded away by traffic, rains or have been worked to the end of the usefull life. Two creeks along this access road are subject to heavy rainfall events and become unpassable at times due to deep scouring or are too boggy. The aboriginal community is remote and requires road treatments which will allow more days of access to meet their cultural and normal living needs.

Good local material will be used to used to resheet the worn sections to make the road as close to all-weather as possible. The creeks will be 'boxed out' and compacted with cement stabilizing to stop the water scouring and to provide for a solid trafficable bottom even when running at low level.
