Project description

The proposed section has the following defects: extensive cracking including fatigue/crocodile craking and longitudinal cracks, deep depressions along the length of the road in the wheel paths. The existing asphalt surface is old, oxidised and brittle. There are major surface failures and moderate pavement failures.

Pavement rehabilitation consisting of in-situ stabilisation of the existing pavement and placement of a new asphalt wearing surface including the installation of subsoil drainage.

Total cost of proposed project is $547,670
