Project description

The current road is not currently gazetted for B Doubles preventing any B-Double freight access to chicken farms. Once completed the project will provide sealed access to chicken farms located approximately 4-8kms along Murraylands Road allowing B-Double access.

Resheet and sealing of 4.2 kilometres of Murraylands Rd. The road width will be increased to a minimum of 10m width carriageway along the length of the route.

Total cost of proposed project is $1,338,800
