Project description

This section of Tyagong Creek Road consists of a 8m wide pavement with a 7m wide bituminous surface. The pavement is failing extensively. It requires constant repairs and reduces safety to traffic especially to the heavy vehicles including school buses.

It is intended to stabilise and strenghten the road pavement. This project will include erecting & removing traffic control at the site, removing & reinstating signs & guideposts, clearing, stabilising 200m deep, adding gravel, reconstructing the table drains, shaping, compacting, trimming and primersealing incorporating 10mm aggregates with a 5mm scatter coat.
