Project description

Existing road pavement is narrow particularly at the intersection of Martin Street and Booyamurra Street where there is a restriction on two trucks passing. The surface of the existing pavement is deformed which creates a noise problem for adjoining residences when a truck travels the road.

Improve the strength of the road pavement by removing failed sections and replacing with complying road base. Overlay the existing pavement with 100mm of road base and widen shoulders. Install 50 metres of new kerbing and guttering to improve drainage at the intersection of Martin Street and Booyamurra Street.
