Project description

Safety upgrade to traffic signals required for the safety of all users with the emphasis on pedestrian safety through separation of left turn vehicle movements and conflicting pedestrian movement as well as bicycle storage areas on all legs of the intersection.

Road widening and alterations to median on the southern side ( Bounty Boulevard ) leg of the intersection. Reallocation of lanes with line marking alterations. Installation of bicycle storage areas on all legs. New signal loops to suit the new intersection configuration and changes to signal aspects and arrows.
