Project description

The existing asphalt road surface is oxidised with substantial longitudinal and transverse cracking and loss of cross-sectional shape with heavy rutting at the approach to intersections.

Proposed to cold plane profile the existing road surface (full width) to a depth of 50 millimetres for a length of 365 metres and a width of 18.5 metres and reinstate the road surface with 10 mm type H hot mix asphalt wearing course and 10 mm type V hot mix asphalt for 50 metres on the approaches to the intersections, all to a depth of 50 mm.
