Project description

The current road is unsealed and unsafe for heavy vehicle use. Clinton Road has a constantly changing surface condition in its current unsealed state and is exposed to continued material loss during the summer months and after significant rain events is very slippery.

The existing unsealed road will be widened to ten metres and sealed to seven metres wide with a two coat seal. Work includes engineering design works, and construction of 3.75 kilometres of sealed road. Improvements to horizontal and vertical alignment where required.

Total cost of proposed project is $4,795,000
