Project description

Due to the increase of heavy vehicles pavement thickness is inadequate to carry high volumes of traffic, pavement is weak and is extremely damaged safety issues and noise have been raised by residents and 2 nearby schools.

Remove unsuitable gravel to a depth of 450mm, replace with suitable gravel, compacting in layers, stabilising the travel lanes, whilst providing a bitumen water proofing membrane, and apshalt wear coarse.
