Project description

The existing pavement at the intersection is in very poor condition and requires immediate renewal. The pavement suffers from crocodile cracking, potholing, heaving and rutting most likely caused by pavement fatigue due to inadequate strength.

Rehabilitation of the pavement at the intersection of Queen Street and Windham Street, Wallan. The works will include profiling the existing surface by 50mm, cement stabilising 200mm of the remaining base course and constructing a new 50mm hot mix asphalt wearing course on the intersection and its approaches approx.950m2.
