Project description

The pavement is potholed and very deformed and is past its useful life. The road is one of the main access roads to the Sawtell area, and with the very rough ride, it causes a risk to motorists and cyclists.

Construction of subsoil drains to protect the pavement. As the existing pavement is substandard and not suitable for stabilisation, reconstruction will be by box out and pavement replacement, with a hot bitumen seal

Total cost of proposed project is $524,189
