The reserve now has a large number of permanent dwellings, caravan park for tourist, general store and service station. The road becomes a safety hazard in wet due to the lower formation where water becomes impassable.

Formation and gravel resheeting of the selected sections to improve the road pavement and upgrade from formed to gravel standard.
