Project description

Gorrie Dry River road is is a significant beef road providing access to five large cattle stations. The road is currently experiencing very dry conditions, with very high road train usage for cattle transport. This heavy vehicle traffic has caused numerous sections of road to deteriorate into deep bull-dust.

Widening and gravel resheeting from chainage 51.92 to 53.37 kilometres.
