Project description

The gravel road gets heavily corrugated by roadtrains carting cattle. This section is prone to flooding and heavy vehicles get stuck on the road during wet weather.

It is proposed to form and shape up the existing road to allow for the correct crossfall. 300mm new gravel pavement will be added to the formation and bitumen sealed to 6.2m wide. Existing table drains and road shoulder will be regraded to allow controlled drainage of storm water. The existing floodway will be widened to accommodate the new pavement and bitumen seal.

Total cost of proposed project is $310,000
