Project description

The existing bitumen seal is approximately 20 years old and is starting to break up, causing pavement potholes, shoving of the outer wheel paths and edge break. There is also severe longitudinal and lateral cracking happening. Road shoulders need shoulder grading.

Correct any surface defects eg:potholes/shoves, maintenance grade the shoulders, import gravel to reshape shoulders where necessary, then bitumen seal to a width of 6m using 10 or 14mm aggregate (depending on design).
