Project description

Pollard street surface profile is still good but the surfacing itself is nearing the end of useful life and it is heavily cracked.

This Project involves resurfacing this section of Pollard street due to very extensive cracking. The cracking has been crack sealed already and it is felt that resealing with Polymer modified (rubberised) bitumen with a 14mm/7mm double seal will enable the new surface to better withstand any tendency for cracking to recur or reflect through the new surface since the rubberised bitumen is particularly good in this application.
