Project description

The existing road pavement exhibits areas of significant oxidisation and ravelling, longitudinal and transverse cracking. There is significant longitudinal roughness. Significant lengths of concrete kerbing in a poor condition with displacement of channel /gutter.

The project includes the following major aspects: • Rehabilitation of 777 metres of existing road pavement and resurfacing with asphalt • Reconstruction of 1574 metres of existing kerb and channel • Construction of traffic islands at intersections • Reconstruction of existing vehicle crossings where required • Reconstruction of footpath • Construction of 536 metres of underground drainage works
