Project description

Black Springs Road is a minor local road which links Ulan Road to Frog Rock Road and services a large rural residential area. Much of the road is sealed, however there is a 2.3km sections which is unsealed. The project involves the sealing of this missing link extending south from the intersection with School Lane. Short lengths of unsealed road sandwiched between sealed section causes maintenance issues and deteriorates quickly once graded. Council have received numerous requests for this section to be sealed.

It is proposed to widen this section of road to achieve a 7.5m seal. Works would involve minor tree clearance / trimming, re-establishing storm water drainage , pavement rehabilitation and seal.
