Project description

450 m of unsealed road servicing the airstrip and power station has a rough surface and causes dust into the community and power station facilities.

In conjunction with the Northern Territory Government sealing of the Canteen Creek airstrip sealing of the airport access road 450 m x 5m with 14mm and 7 mm aggregate. Savings in mobilisation and also the Northern Territory Government is contributing to the project.

Total cost of proposed project is $86,234

The existing road is deficient in strength and is breaking up in sections.Replace existing drainage and culverts. Milling and stabilisation to a depth of 200mm, 120mm thick layer of compacted finely crushed rock and finished with a two coat seal.
