Tumbar Road (Rural Road) Jericho - 059345-15QLD-RTR

Existing carriageway is in part an unsealed gravel road. Between Ch 21.4 and Ch 23.9 (km) there is a sealed section. Council has a program in place to gradually extend the bitumen seal to properties within the Barcaldine Regional Council area allowing all weather access.Reconstruction of gravel section of road to an 8m standard to a pavement depth of 200mm. Prime and seal the reconstructed pavement to a width of 6m.Total cost of proposed project is $825,000

Baranduda Blvd, Baranduda, Vic, 3690 - 059347-15VIC-RTR

Age related deterioration of sealed road surface has resulted in loss of stone, oxidation of the bitumen, cracking, and isolated areas of pavement failure including roughness and breaking up of pavement surface due to ingress of moisture. Proposed reseal shall form a waterproof barrier to prevent the road pavement from becoming wet and prevent the formation of potholes and shall improve skid resistance.It is proposed to reseal the full pavement area with a 14mm bituminous sealTotal cost of proposed project is $261,000

Melrose Drive, Wodonga, Vic, 3690 - 059352-15VIC-RTR

Road pavement shows significant areas of failure, including shoving, cracking and potholing. High maintenance costs associated with ongoing inspection and repair. Road safety associated with very slick pavement surface and shoved pavement.Intersection reconstruction, including removal and replacement to 50mm depth of 2750 sqm of existing failed wearing surface. Pavement and/or subgrade replacement as required, Supply and place 50mm thick layer of type H 320 bitumen asphalt. Repaint linemarking.Total cost of proposed project is $90,900

Existing pavement has deteriorated and is deformmed which presents a safety hazard to the motorists.Undertake preparatory works (premix, crack sealing) to eliminate pavement deformation.
