Project description

The project involved the construction of two east facing entry and exit ramps to access the Western Highway at Halletts Way in Bacchus Marsh. Traffic signals and noise attenuation barriers were installed and a shared user path was constructed over the Western Freeway.

Benefits

The completed project has improved safety, traffic flow and pedestrian access in Bacchus Marsh.

Funding

The cost of the project was $15.2 million, with the Australian Government contributing $12.16 million and the Victorian Government $3.04 million.

Timetable

Construction commenced on 9 June 2017 and was completed on 31 August 2018.
