Project description

The section of George Street is a narrow sealed urban street of 6.4m with unsealed shoulders. Recent traffic counts have highlighted increased traffic movements, Council has also received complaints from the community about the lack of on street parking in the vicinity of the Rochester Secondary College.

Widening both sides of street for approximately 100m. Seal to be widened by 9.3m from the existing edge of the sealed pavement.
