Project description

Excessive pooling of water (at depth) across floodway along a regularly trafficked regional rural road, causing traffic safety concerns to both heavy vehicles (pastoral and agricultural industries) and residents as the site is within a 100 kilometre/hour zone and on a blind approach from a crest.

Excavate current pavement and floodway for the installation of underground pipework, allowing for water to flow under the travelled path, including the minor raising of adjacent road surfaces to match the infrastructure and realignment of associated roadside drainage components.
