Project description

The existing concrete causeway carries a large volume of water in large rain events however is in poor condition, has poor ride quality and has no low flow pipe.

Council proposes to replace the concrete causeway and incorporate a low flow pipe such that in smaller rain events water is not across the road, while still allowing large flows to top the causeway. The ride quality will also be improved as the installation of a low flow pipe will allow the road level to be raised.
