Project description

Very low sections of road prone to severe corrugation, inundation and scouring/washouts after rain due to water flow velocity. This is dangerous for light vehicles and often renders road impassable to heavy traffic.

Reconstruct road to improve formation and vertical geometry, carry out laterite gravel sheeting; install additional drainage, levee banks and causeways. Road width 10m, total length of works 20.7km.

Total cost of proposed project is $700,000
