Project description

Extensive flood damage occurs after periods of heavy rainfall, with scouring and washouts of running surface and fast-flowing small creeks rendering road dangerous to all forms of traffic.

Raise vertical alignment and formation with water-bound compacted gravel sheeting in preparation for sealing; improve drainage and install levee banks, box out and construct two rock-fill causeways. Cut down steep banks of creeks to reduce water flow velocity.

Total cost of proposed project is $750,000
