Project description

Menzies Northwest road has deteriorated through loss of fines resulting in the inability to maintain the surface in a bound condition leading to surface failures such as potholes and corrugations. The road requires reconstruction, reconditioning of pavement using a suitable gravel and sealing. The horizontal and vertical geometry will also be addressed to improve driver safety.

Reconstruct, recondition pavement and seal including horizontal and vertical geometry improvement and enhanced pavement design over lake crossing to mitigate potential salt damage.

Total cost of proposed project is $1,286,736
