Project description

Main Street Streetscape improvements, drainage improvements, install traffic calming device, and road resurfacing

Road surface to be profiled, construct elevated table, install additional drainage, install new kerbing and resurface road with asphalt treatment. The planned works include an intersection upgrade i.e. new asphalt, kerbing and drainage improvements at Carlisle and Morgans Street.

Total cost of proposed project is $1,450,000

Richmond - Croydon Road (Rural Road) - 059568-15QLD-RTR

The two works sites are existing floodways on the bitumen sealed section of the road. The two floodways are located in a very dangerous dip in the road causing vehicles and heavy transport to dangerously brake on a straight alignment.Council proposes to raise both floodways, add new pavement and bitumen seal to make the road safe. The floodway at chainage 85.27 kilometre to 85.911 kilometre shall have new larger pipes installed.
