Project description

Council recently completed a Level 3 investigation of the Wells Road Bridge. A number of defects were observed including: Corrosion at concrete I-beam bearing locations Cracking of concrete I-beams at the bearings Cracking and spalling of other concrete elements

Rehabilitation works including concrete patch repair of prestressed I-girders, removal of corroded steel bearing surface and application of paint protection. Repair of northern abutment and backfilling.

Total cost of proposed project is $240,030
