Project description

Flexible road pavement is in poor condition and has failed for approximately 60% of the roads length; it has extensive cracking rutting and heaving failures. Kerb & channel is greater than 75% disjointed and requires replacing. Drainage improvements and traffic management works will be incorporated into this project.

Works involve road reconstruction and shared path construction, and consist of: • 3000m² of excavation for road pavement, footpaths and vehicle crossings, • 1650m² of asphalt pavement reconstruction, • 475m of concrete kerb & channel • 650m² concrete footpath paving • 160m² concrete vehicle crossings • 300m of drainage 225mm to 450mm Dia. Pipes • associated drainage pits
