Project description

Anzac Avenue, Chambers Flat is a local government road which is deteriorating in condition and is entering the later portions of its surfacing life cycle. Based on modelling from Council’s Pavement Management System it is appropriate to resurface Anzac Avenue to maximise retention of road value in the underlying pavement.

Pavement Rehabilitation for the entire length (975 metres, excluding the bridge) of Anzac Avenue, from Waterford-Tamborine Road to Kirk Road. Works are to involve the milling of isolated failures, asphalt resurfacing and spray seal treatments. The extent of works include 540 metres of Asphalt Resurfacing and 435 metres of Spray Seal Resurfacing.
