Project description

Bridge abutment area has depleted rock beaching. Steel components showing signs of rust. Deck planks need replacing and bolts and screws need to be tightened.

Stabilise bridge abutments by supplying and placing rock beaching on batters only, 2.5m upstream and downstream. Remove rust and paint all steel components of the bridge. Replace deteriorated deck planking. Tighten all bolts and screws. Supply & install guard rail along bridge and extend 2m beyond each end of bridge on both sides.
