Project description

The existing sealed road is in poor condition with numerous surface defects, cracking and pavement failures. The road is rough and provides poor ride quality to road users. Repair of the frequent and repetitive pavement and surface failures causes high maintenance expenditure. The cracked surface is allowing ingress of moisture and accelerated deterioration.

Rehabilitation of the road pavement by in-situ stabilisation and application of a new asphalt surface. The road alignment and width will remain similar to the existing road.
