Project description

Interaction between Road users. Cyclists and Gophers ride along Knight Terrace between the parallel parked cars and the designated road. This represents a considerable safety issue between vehicles and cyclists/gophers along Knight Terrace and Stella Rowley Drive resulting in several near collisions.

The work proposed is to upgrade the existing footpath to a 3 metre wide concrete dual cycle way thus encouraging cyclists and gopher riders to utilise the cycle way instead of traversing along Knight Terrace and Stella Rowley Drive.

Total cost of proposed project is $219,539
