Project description

The existing asphalt wearing surface has reached the end of its serviceable life, pavement has extensive cracking and uneven surface and as a bus route where "quality of ride" is paramount, requires prompt rehabilitation to prevent further, more expensive degradation to the pavement.

Remove and replace existing kerbing, adjust/replace stormwater drainage structures, profile existing surface to a minimum depth of 20mm, apply SAMI seal or asphalt interlayer to exposed base course and overlay full width with "Stone Mastic Asphalt"
