Road condition consists of weak, thin and failing pavement with thin, failing bitumen seal. Surface condition consists of mostly pothole patches within the travel lanes and wheel paths. Intersection between Lawson St and Massinger Street limits traffic flow. Stormwater drainage at intersection and along Massinger Street requires upgrade.

New pavement (DGS40) to be placed in 215 mm layer. 2 courses of AC 20 to be placed totalling 135mm full depth AC thickness. 40mm AC14 wearing surface to be final surface. Massinger Street Road construction to enlarge pavement width to allow on street parking. Require drainage works - 200m of drainage works redirecting, collecting and increasing drainage capacity are to be constructed from Lighthouse and Massinger Street intersection to Massinger Street and Kipling intersection, then across Massinger Street to outlet. Works will also include culvert lengthening at outlet.

Total cost of proposed project is $792,400
