Project description

Normal problems to be addressed include major cracking of the asphalt surface and wheel rutting along side on street parking bays due to screwing of wheels turning. There is also depressions along side kerb edges where the road has subsided and as such water ponds that requires minor re-grading to nearby drainage pits.

The proposal is to remove approximately 25-30 millimeters of asphalt surface, and replace with the same depth of new asphalt of a more durable and suitable specification. Where depressions are located in the existing pavement, additional asphalt will be placed as a 'corrector' course to achieve the required falls across the road.
