Project description

Corroboree Billabong Access is used by local fishing community, tour operators, tourists and cruise business operators who use this road to access Corroboree Billabong wetlands that is a very popular tourist attraction in the Top End. Currently the road is unsealed and very corrugated and rutted. During and post rain, this road becomes very boggy and slippery and pose a great hazard to the road users. Dust is also an issue while the road is dry that reduce drive visibility.

Upgrade from unsealed to sealed standards from chainage 0.0 to 8.0 kilometres.

Total cost of proposed project is $2,000,000
