Project description

Current street layout encourages high traffic speeds which potentially endanger other road users and pedestrians. Project is to install traffic calming to provide a safer environment for all road users

Project will include 3 new roundabouts including raised aprons with minor road works during the construction. Project to include new and upgraded pathways to improve connections to the foreshore, installation of new pedestrian islands and kerb ramps, new drainage and lighting at the new intersections. The roundabouts will reduce traffic speed and improve the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and motorists using this corridor
