Project description

The lane width at the intersection with Kate Court is insufficient (3.5m lane width+ 1.5m hard shoulder) for vehicles to pass another vehicle stopped to turn right and as a result, overall capacity of McClintock Drive is impacted and the level of motorist safety is compromised.

The scope of the project is to design and construct a south bound channelised right turn (S type) on McClintock Drive. The objective is to improve the safety of traffic operation in that intersection by reducing the delays for through traffic and providing more waiting time for right turning traffic to filter through.

Total cost of proposed project is $340,000
