Project description

Secondary Through road formed from natural red clay material with pockets of imported gravel. In wet conditions the road is very slippery and must be driven with care. In dry weather the pavement tends to form deep potholes with severe rutting and pavement blowouts.

Reshape road and gravel sheet – Win and cart gravel – Spread gravel at 6m wide X 130mm thick, compact to 100mm. Re-establish table and mitre drains, install erosion control measures where necessary.
