Project description

This road primarily consists of concrete trafficked lanes with 2-coat sealed shoulders. The shoulders have degraded to an unacceptable condition, showing signs of potholing, rutting, cracking and depressions.

The shoulders in required locations along this 2km section of road will be removed and built back up to the level of the concrete road surface with road base. Hotmix will be laid on this prepared surface in order to provide a more resilient seal on the shoulders in these locations.
