Project description

Old Gosford Road is increasingly used as a shortcut between two main roads. This section is narrow with no formal footway or parking arrangements and little control of stormwater. Speeding is an ongoing safety issue.

Reconstruct the road over a length of 560 metres and widen pavement to an average width 8.0 metres. Provide stormwater drainage, kerb and gutter both sides, footpath both sides. Services relocations to suit new levels. Provide a raised threshold at the intersection with Leonard Avenue to slow traffic.
