Project description

To create a sealed road linking the towns of Geranium and Coonalpyn. The unsealed road is currently limestone rubble with clay subgrade showing causing poor visibility. The road is a freight and tourism route for the region and is also a school bus route.

The 7.1 kilometre stretch of road will be fully constructed with a crushed rock base coarsed and a two coat bitumen spray seal to a width of 8 metres with 1 metre unsealed shoulder.

Total cost of proposed project is $1,932,000
